High Energy Absorption Panel™ (HEA Panel) is a rectangular panel made of square meshes manufactured from a single continuous high strength rope.
HEA steel cable panels are more suited to surface stabilisation applications than simple woven mesh as they possess greater stiffness. They provide high resistance with minimal deflection in order to limit or prevent the displacement of the unstable surface rock mass, therefore reducing the deterioration of the slope and increasing the level of security.
These robust systems are available with a variety of protective coatings for an enhanced design life. In certain applications, the panel can be further strengthened by inserting a perimeter rope.
